1. What bill do you hate paying the most?
Credit card bills, because I can’t do them automatically, and I get Elf’s BofA card mixed up with mine. I’ve forgotten to pay his a couple times because I pay mine first, because it’s due earlier, then ignore the notices for his card, because I’ve “already paid the BofA bill.” Bleh!

2. Where was the last place you had a romantic dinner?
Wow, we haven’t been out to dinner for a good long while. I really don’t remember

3. Do you regret losing your virginity to whom you lost it? [corrected for grammar]
Hell, no. ^_^

4. If you could go back and change one thing what would it be?
Jeebus! How do you pick one thing? Um, how about getting my depression taken care of years earlier?

5. What do you want to be doing right now?
Playing with Filter Forge or working on Collage Art.

6. There is no Question 6. It's a myth, like the Loch Nest Monster or [compassionate conservativism.] (my addition)

7. What did you want to be when you were growing up?
A writer, an artist, a nun.

8. How many colleges did you attend?
Two. One for a BA and another (cough) for an MA.

9. Why did you choose the shirt that you have on right now?
It’s just something I wear under my sweatshirt in the morning to tide me over to my shower, which comes after I go to the gym.

10. What are your thoughts on gas prices?
I wish they would encourage real conservation, but alas, it’s probably just the working poor who will get shafted again. >:-/

11. If you could move anywhere and take someone with you where would it be?
Probably British Columbia, obviously with Elf. Further north, beautiful land, away from American politics, but still pretty close to friends and family. Either that or Germany, if I could speak German…

12. First thought when the alarm went off this morning?
I don’t use an alarm – I usually just wake up between 7am and 7:30am. This morning I woke up when Elf was clattering around the bathroom. ;-) My first thoughts were probably about how hard it was to get up.

13. Last thought before going to sleep last night?
I can’t remember my last thought, for heaven’s sake. But I usually think myself to sleep by working on the various aspects of my Twilight world – races, geography, magic, science, etc.

14. Do you miss being a child?
No, though sometimes I miss some aspects of childhood, like political ignorance.

15. There isn't a question 15, either. Somebody needs to learn how to count.

16. What errand/chore do you despise?
Cleaning the shower, definitely. I’m not hot about dusting or vacuuming, either.

17. If you didn't have to work, would you volunteer?
I kind of do for Jackson Bottom, but not enough. Basically I am lazy and selfish of my time. :-/

18. Get up early or sleep in?
Sleep in, generally, though not unduly. On week days I’m usually up between 7am and 7:30am. Weekends I usually get up closer to 8am.

19. What is your favorite cartoon character?
Bugs Bunny. ^_^

20. Favorite thing to do at night?
Sleep. I love sleep.

21. Have you found real love yet?
Oh, yes! ^_^

22. When did you first start feeling old?
When my knees started to make those weird noises when I went up the stairs.

24. Your favorite lunch meat?
Rare roast beef.

25. What do you get every time you go into Wal-Mart?
The only time I’ve been in a Wal-Mart was to go to the bathroom.

26. Beach or lake?
Beach, preferably wild and rocky, with forests not too far away.

27. Do you think marriage is an outdated ritual?
No, but it needs to change and grow to remain relevant.

28. Do you own property?
Yes – Elf and I own a house together.

29. Favorite Guilty pleasure?
Computer solitaire.

30. Favorite movie you wouldn't want anyone to find out about?
I’m not really ashamed of my movie preferences. I don’t care who knows how much I like (good) animated films, for instance.

31. What's your drink?
Beer, wine, or milk.

32. Cowboys or Indians?
Indians.

33. Cops or Robbers?
Robbers, but something like a cat burglar who steals only from the rich.

34. Who from high school would you like to run in to?
Christy, I think. I’d most like to see Liz again, but as she has apparently died, that would be tough.

35. What radio station is your car radio tuned to right now?
KBPS, the local, listener-supported, classical station.

36. Norm or Cliff?
Norm.

37. Grey's or The Office?
I don’t know either of them, though from what I’ve heard, I’d probably prefer The Office.

38. Worst relationship mistake that you wish you could take back?
Ever getting together with Pat.

39. Do you like the person that sits directly across from you at work?
I work from home. Sometimes Ezri sits in the window across from me, and yes, I like her, though she is an Evil Kitty.

40. What famous person would you like to have dinner with?
Mike Rowe, from Dirty Jobs. With all my friends and his camera crew. Party!

41. Indoors or Outdoors?
Indoors, pretty much. :-(

42. Have you ever crashed your vehicle?
A couple fender-benders (one of which was actually my fault), but no real crashes.

43. Have you ever had to use a fire extinguisher for its intended purpose?
No.

44. Last book you read?
Sabriel by Garth Nix. I’m working on the sequel, Lirael, now.

45. Do you have a teddy bear?
Yes. Elf bought it for me from FOA Schwartz on a business trip early in our marriage. I still sleep with Barnaby when Elf is away, or if I’m feeling mushy when I take a nap. I also still have the stuffed lamb I got for my 16th birthday. I slept with it nightly until I got married. I also still have Pink Bunny, who I got when I was four and slept with until I got Mindy (the lamb).

46. Strangest place you have ever brushed your teeth
My teeth? I have no idea… @_@?

47. Somewhere in California you've never been and would like to go?
Yosemite or Death Valley.

48. Do you go to church?
Not for a long time, though I’m still a member of Dharma Rain Zen Center.

49. At this point in your life would you rather start a new career or a new relationship?
New career, though I am doing what I love (Photoshop work) now. Maybe get more clients? :-D

50. How old are you?
I’ll be forty-four in March.
